The Death of Captain Flint
As an innkeeper on the coastal city of Savannah, Georgia, you're used to all sorts of shady characters patronizing your establishment. The year 1754, however proves to be a memorable one for you when the infamous Captain Flint's ship is damaged in a battle at sea, and his injured crewmen seek shelter at your inn.
The pirates lodging at your establishment are:
- John Silver, a gregarious quartermaster who's coming to terms with having his left leg amputated.
- David Pew, a surly sailor who lost his eyes in Flint's infamous broadside battle.
- Doctor Lev Paperny, an educated gentleman who’s tending to the convalescing crewmen.
- Darby McGraw, a man on the run who’s joined Flint to escape his former life.
- Billy Bones, Flint’s petulant first mate whose thirst for rum seems unquenchable.
With such untrustworthy patrons frequenting your inn, you make it a policy to ask as few questions as possible. However, that changes when Captain Flint is found dead in your common room.
While Doctor Paperny declares it to be alcohol poisoning, you suspect foul play. After the only clues to the location of Flint’s treasure disappear, it becomes up to you now to discover who killed Captain Flint and what has happened to his treasure map. You're liable to loose more than just your rent otherwise!
Progress to new chapters by talking to characters, decoding ciphers, solving logic puzzles and thoroughly searching your surroundings. Some players may find it useful to have a pen and scrap paper at hand.
Based on the work of Robert Louis Stevenson.
